John & Alicia Albertson
We were “middle school” sweethearts. We have 2 children: 26 and 19, and 1 grandchild. We own 20 acres in Indian Trail, NC. We have a small farm and dogs. It was always our dream to own land and build our own house which we completed 3 years ago and now building our daughter & sons-in-law’s house on our property. I worked for the securities industry for over 25yrs, giving that up last year to watch our first grandchild and start building my own business “Fairvue Estate LLC” design & contracting. My husband has been a contractor for 30yrs. He owns his own business, Johns General Maintenance LLC, which I help run.
We never planned on owning a beach house to rent (I would have chosen mountain house!) This is our first endeavor doing a rental vacation home. We have put a lot of work into updating it as if we lived there. We hope you enjoy our “home away from home”!
